14 September - Jazz Picnic by the Stour

Come and enjoy a fantastic musical line up in the stunning gardens of Ballister House, Bradfield on Sunday 14September from 1 pm onwards.

Headline Acts expected to include the fabulous Quay Notes and exciting newcomer singer songwriter Flo Smart.

Tickets for Adults: £10
Children: £5

Bring a picnic or for a real treat order a delicious picnic box ready for you to collect on the day. All picnic boxes cost £15 and consist of a starter, a main course and a dessert and include cutlery.  Bring your own bottle or meet your friends at the bar.
Choose from one of the following:

Starters:
Parma Ham and Melon
Gazpacho (v)
Crayfish Cocktail
 Mains:
 Roast Salmon with watercress mayonnaise, new potato salad, watercress & rocket leaves
Smoked Chicken Breast Nicoise, fine beans, new potatoes, olives, cherry tomatoes, boiled egg
Summer Squash & Feta Tart, summer leaves, new potato salad and tomatoes (v)
 Desserts:
 Strawberries and cream
Chocolate Almond Torte
Cheese Selection from Hamish Johnston

 All picnic boxes come with a homemade bread selection with butter
 You can order your picnic box by:
  1. emailing: [email protected] and we can send you an order form or you can tell us how many boxes you would like as well as the quantities of each course required. Please send a cheque made out to Free the Quay to: Bettina Bullimore, Ballister House, Station Road, Bradfield CO11 2UP or by
  2. picking up an order form from the Mistley Thorn, Lucca or the Mistley Kitchen Shop where you can also buy your ticket and deposit your order. Payment by cheque or cash in any of these outlets
Picnic boxes must be pre-ordered and paid for on or before 8 September and will be ready for collection at the event on the day.  All the family welcome but no dogs please.
