![]() This is a fantastic opportunity for gardener and lovers of gardens to see 14 gardens which have previously not been open to the public. You will be able to see all sorts of different styles of garden such as a garden landscaped in French style by an artist, several walled gardens, a plantsman's garden full of shrubs and roses and a lovely garden which includes roses, a feature bed and a rare 1940 summerhouse built on runners so that it can be turned around. Several garden owners offer drinks, teas, cake, plants, books as well as art. All the these gardens are within walking distance of the famous Mistley Towers, the most significant landmark of Mistley designed by Robert Adam in 1776. The gardens will be open on: Sunday 26 June 2016 12.00 pm - 5.00 pm Tickets are £5.00 for adults (accompanied under 16s free) and can be obtained from: Mistley Kitchen, High Street, Mistley, CO11 1HD or Mistley Church Hall, New Road, Mistley on the day.
